I went kiteflying with a friend of mine to a wide and plain meadow he used to go .
It was a nice day and the wind wasn´t that good, so most of the time we just chilled in the sun :D
That´s probably the shot that turned out best.


EDIT
I think all the noises and flaws should be gone now :D

Beautifull colors and nice composition work :) Though I would've cropped off the ground and left only the sky, but it still looks great :)

And the title is so inspiring and original while it matches the photo perfetly too :lol:

I don´t get why the title is original XD. But thzank you very much..
I tried to crop it but I just couldn´t do it right somehow .. it just seemed some kind of awkward .. if I cut off to much sky it the kite hasn´t room to fly anymore you know what I mean?

No just try cropping only the floor and the guy off (no offence) and leave a big part of the sky. Composition would be awesome :lol:
And about the original title, I meant that sarcasticly, its just funny =P It does match the photo perfectly though :lol:

I don't know if you should cut off the ground. At least, i wouldn't cut off the WHOLE ground. leave at least a small part of it.

Depends on what you're going for, really. If the emphasis is solely the kite then something might certainly be gained by cropping out the ground... It would make for an interesting piece.

But I really love the human element of the *child* being in frame and flying the kite... I guess it really depends on what you want and what mood you're trying to convey.

The colors of this are absolutely amazing. So vibrant and beautiful. A lovely photograph!

akela9 said much of what I was going to say. I like it like this, but I can also see it without the ground. Each would convey a different meaning and feeling. Have you tried cropping it and seeing what that looked like? You could do both and submit them as different pieces.
